“The Whitethread Jurisprudence Course is nuanced course with very proficient teachers. Before I did this course, my grasp of Fiqh was limited to english primers due to not being ʿĀlimiyyah graduate as yet. Despite not studying Qudūrī and Uṣūl al-Fiqh previously, the lessons were clear and easy-to-grasp, yet not too slow-paced. The pace in the Uṣūl al-Fiqh is a little faster, but it really helped develop the ability to understand texts in Arabic without relying on English translation. For me, this was the highlight of this course, learning to read and understand Fiqh texts in Arabic, without needing to first translate it into English. The other highlight was the emphasis on accurate translations, this course really helps breaking the bad habit of approximate translating. Would definitely recommend to ʿĀlimiyyah students as well as graduates.”

“The Jurisprudence course definitely surpassed my expectations, the way it is taught gives the student the confidence and ability to interact with the text, we were also encouraged to check other books and commentaries which helped deepen my understanding across the many subjects covered. Chapters that may seem daunting like buyu’ are taught in a manner easy to understand and retain. We got to cover most chapters alhamdulillah and it was a great recap of the fiqh while putting the rulings into context with modern issues. All the teachers were amazingly helpful in the way they taught and I never felt left out just because I didn’t understand something, rather questions are encouraged and welcomed by all the teachers which helped create a healthy classroom environment for us to thrive in. The dalaail and history of the madhab lesson was extremely helpful in answering many of the oft repeated questions directed at the madhab and its founders.
