Life can feel overwhelming. Stress, anxiety and competing responsibilities can affect how we think, feel, behave and connect with those around us.

Finding Calm Amidst the Chaos is a practical five-session course designed to help Muslim women better understand stress and anxiety while developing practical tools to support emotional and spiritual wellbeing.

Throughout the course, we will explore the roots of stress and anxiety from biological, psychological, social and spiritual perspectives, recognise common signs and triggers, and consider some of the unique pressures faced by Muslim women today.

We will also explore different approaches to coping with stress and anxiety, reflect on our own coping patterns, and learn strategies for responding to everyday stress and overwhelm, including the role of connection with Allah, faith-based practices and healthy habits in supporting greater calm and emotional wellbeing.

Through reflection, discussion and practical activities, you will develop a personalised approach to nurturing your body, mind and soul, and build a wellbeing toolkit that you can continue to draw upon beyond the course.
