Course Instructor

Mawlana Muaaz Vahora completed his memorisation of the Qur’an at the age of 13. At 16 he enrolled at Imam Zakariya Academy, London where he excelled in the Islamic sciences while simultaneously attaining a first-class degree in Engineering from QMUL. After completing his Alimiyyah, he pursued a post-graduate specialisation in Hanafi jurisprudence under the tutelage of Mufti Abdur Rahman Mangera. As of now, he dedicates his time to the daily running of the Muslim Family Foundation of which he is a co-founder. He also holds a teaching post at Imam Zakariya Academy where he teaches Tafsir and Islamic History amongst other subjects. Mawlana Muaaz also delivers lectures at his local masjid where he is loved by the congregation for his approachable manner and wise words.
