Can a Muslim believe in evolution? Does rejecting Darwin’s theory mean rejecting science? This self-paced course tackles these timely questions head-on, offering clarity in a space where many Muslims feel confusion, pressure, or doubt.

In this course we'll explore how Islamic creed engages with scientific claims — separating observable facts from the philosophical assumptions built into modern evolutionary theory. We’ll examine the various meanings of evolution—from minor biological changes to claims about human origins and natural processes—so you can make sense of what truly conflicts with Islam, and what doesn't.

This isn’t just a course on theory. It’s a practical guide to strengthening your ʿaqīdah, clearing up misconceptions, and gaining the tools to engage with others confidently in a world where science and faith are too often seen as incompatible.

“This course exceeded my expectations. It was far more detailed than I anticipated, and the teacher was masha'Allah deeply grounded in Islamic knowledge while also highly knowledgeable in biology. The references provided throughout added so much depth and credibility.”

“The National Curriculum places strong emphasis on the theory of evolution, introducing it from primary school and subtly shaping minds to accept a particular worldview while causing some to question core beliefs (‘aqāʾid). The teacher has done a much-needed service in helping to challenge and clear our minds of these baseless theories. As highlighted in the course, even scientists have begun retracting statements and published articles in recent years. I encourage anyone influenced by the mainstream narrative to benefit from this course—it presents the side of the story the education system often ignores. For Madrasa and Muslim science teachers especially, this information is essential.”

“As someone who had completed a Biology degree and was surrounded by 'proofs' for evolutionary theories, this was a perfect course to help me realign and reaffirm the true Islamic beliefs and to look extremely critically at all the theories and evolutionary support that we are fed. The course instructor was very educated and knowledgeable, and the right amount of technical information was discussed.”

“Ustadh presented a clear timeline of events, highlighting both the prominent proponents and opponents of the theory. Everything was explained in detail, without rushing through any part of the content. It was both thorough and easy to follow.”
