Join us on a journey through Surah Luqman in this 6-session Tafsir course, exploring one of the Qur’an’s most beautiful and wisdom-filled chapters. Our focus will be on understanding not only the meanings of the verses but also how to live them in our daily lives.

We’ll reflect on major themes such as the gift of wisdom Allah granted to Luqman, the essence of true gratitude, and the importance of worshipping Allah alone (Tawheed) while recognising the dangers of shirk. We’ll discuss how to balance respect and honour for parents with unwavering loyalty to Allah, reflect on personal responsibility and how even the smallest of deeds are known to Him.

Throughout the course, we’ll learn how Salah serves as the foundation of a believer’s life, and how to cultivate good character, patience and humility. We will marvel at the signs of Allah in creation, reinforcing faith through reflection on the natural world and explore critical reminders of the Hereafter, the reality of the accountability we will all face, as well as warnings against the distractions and deceptions of worldly life.

Finally, we’ll study Luqman’s gentle and thoughtful parenting style, a timeless model for nurturing faith in others.
