In this course, you will begin with the muqaddimah (introduction) to understand the objectives of the book as intended by Imam al-Nawawi, and learn about the author himself before diving into the chapters. Each chapter includes verses from the Qur’an and Hadiths that illuminate practical guidance on worship, ethics, spirituality, creed, and everyday life.

Though the course focuses on selected chapters due to time limitations, it highlights the special features of Riyad al-Salihin and provides rich commentary on Hadiths chosen to inspire, educate, and transform your understanding and practice of Islam.

Mawlana Muhammed Al-Hassan

Course Instructor

Muhammed Al-Hassan is an aspiring scholar and teacher of the Islamic sciences. He memorised the Qur’an at the age of 11, and from an early age, he has sought to grow in knowledge and understanding of the Deen. He pursued formal Islamic education by enrolling in the Alimiyyah course at the Islamic Dawah Academy, graduating in 2018. He then continued his studies in the Hadith sciences at Markaz al-Dawah al-Islamiyyah in Dhaka, completing a three-year course in 2021. Following this, he undertook the Ifta specialisation course at the Whitethread Institute, studying from 2021 to 2023. Muhammed Al-Hassan remains a dedicated student, continually striving to develop his understanding of Islamic sciences and other disciplines that may enable him to serve the community. His foremost aim is to benefit the Muslim Ummah and society at large through the knowledge and guidance he receives from his teachers, seeking always to serve the Deen sincerely and attain the pleasure of Allah.
